On one laptop, I can see the other laptop, but when i try to connect I am asked for a username and password. I have tried my computer password, my internet username and password, my router username and password all to no avail. This laptop is running vista. My second laptop is running windows 7.
On this i cannot see the other pc. All files have been ticked on both computers for sharing. I have found a password for network sharing on the windows 7 pc, and tried applying this to the other pc al without success. It is imperrative that one laptop be able to access files on the other as they are being used to run a small home business.
