A Burial Anvil is used to smith burial items through the Smithing skill. Burial Anvils are accompanied by Burial Forges, which are used to heat an in-progress item. A bane bar is a metal bar refined through the Smithing skill by smelting two banite ore together , either using a furnace or the Superheat Item spell. Smelting a bane bar requires a Smithing level of 80, and grants 21 Smithing experience. The Blacksmith's outfit is a skilling outfit originally available from Treasure Hunter.
It is a possible reward from smithing ceremonial swords at the Artisans Workshop in Falador. To get the Artisan's cape, players must train any of these skills beyond level 99 in order to gain a skill shard for each skill. Portable skilling stations, often simply called portables, are tradeable rewards from Treasure Hunter and related promotions which are used to make temporary skilling hotspots.
With level 89 Smithing, corrupted ores can be used at furnaces , awarding Smithing experience. Each corrupted ore gives Smithing experience; Smithing experience with the Voice of Seren active in the district. A decorated mining urn is an urn used with the Mining skill to help gain experience. It will collect ore slivers from rocks that require up to and including level 99 Mining.
The urn must then be activated with an earth rune to become a decorated mining urn r before it can be used. Burial armour is a useful method of gaining experience as the ore for the ingots can be stored in the furnace directly next to the anvils, and all byproducts can be cast down the chute beside the furnace.
Since these items hold no value , players can expect to see a loss from their experience gains. A rune burial set is a set of burial equipment that can be made at a Burial Anvil and Burial Forge. It combines the actions of making burial versions of a rune full helm, platebody, platelegs, gauntlets, and boots into one action, taking the same total progress to complete.
